Every business may appear on blueridge.town, even without an account. This ensures the directory remains open and complete.

Information may be limited or auto-generated

How AI Recommendations Work

Our Trip Planner uses AI to match travelers with businesses based on their specific needs. All businesses—including unclaimed listings—can appear in AI results.

Paid listings receive increased weighting because they provide richer information: detailed amenities, "best for" tags, seasonal availability, pet policies, accessibility notes, and owner updates. More information means better matches and higher relevance.

Unclaimed listings are included in baseline results but with limited data, the AI has less to work with. Claiming your listing gives you the ability to provide the context that makes the AI work in your favor.
