First-Timer Guide
Everything you need to know before your first trip to Blue Ridge, Georgia.
Blue Ridge is nestled in the North Georgia Mountains at the southern end of the Appalachian range, about 90 minutes north of Atlanta via GA-515. Visitors from Chattanooga are about 2 hours away, and Nashville is roughly 4 hours. GA-515 is the main highway into town — it's a scenic, mostly four-lane road that winds through the foothills. Take it slow on the mountain roads, especially at night when deer are very active. GPS works well for navigation, but download your route before heading into the national forest where cell service drops off.
